Up close and personal, this learning journey dives directly into realities of the Everglades and key constituencies involved in South Florida’s challenge of sustainability. The field trip begins with a “slough walk” into waters and ecosystems that are part of Everglades National Park. It then continues with a rich in-depth exploration of issues through interactive panel discussions with key business, community, governmental, and environmental stakeholders. True “lessons of leadership” are brought to the forefront by stepping inside this complex multidimensional situation. There are no easy answers here, yet a field of learning is ripe for the world to see. The field trip is a natural build-on to Avastone’s Everglades direct experience simulation.
